But later, invasions by Islamic forces happened. The invasion of Sindh by the Arabs and the conquest of Sindh by Mohammad bin Qasim in AD 711. Sabuktagin Ghazni, Mohammad Ghazni, Mohammad Ghori, Bakthiyar Khilji who invaded Bihar and Bengal and destroyed Nalanda university, various dynasties which later ruled from Delhi – Slave dynasty, Khilji dynasty, Tughlaq dynasty, Said dynasty, Lodhi dynasty, Sur dynasty, and Mughal dynasty.
Then the invaders who came from time to time – Mongolian invaders, Timur, Nadir Shah, Ahamad Shah Abdali, some Muslim Nawabs who ruled some regions of India, Bijapur, Bamini, Mysore Sulthans.
Western occupations – Portuguese, Dutch, French, and British and countless patriots who valiantly fought against them!
