Aarsha Vidya Samajam (AVS) is a spiritual and educational institution based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, for the systematic and scientific fulfillment of the Pancha Kartavyas of Sanathana Dharma: Adhyayana (Systematic Study), Anushthana (Practice), Prachaarana (Promotion), Adhyapana (Teaching), Samrakshana (Protection).
Make the whole world noble through Sanathana Dharma
Sri Parameshwara, is described by various names such as Siva, Vishnu, Parasakthi etc. He manifested in the form of Adinatha, when humans originated on earth and gave Sanathana Dharma to our Rishis. This manifest form of Parameshwara is called Adinatha or Adiyogi in the Yoga Parampara, Siva Sankara Rishi or Siva Rishi in the Tantrik Parampara, Dakshinamurthy, Jnanamoorthy or Vedamurthy in the Vedanta Parampara, Srikanta Rudra or Neelakanta Rudra in the Siddhanta Parampara, and as Rudra Maharshi in Swethaswataropanishad.
When Sri Parameshwara, gave Sanathana Dharma to mankind, he instructed the Rishis - the motto, Krinwantho Vishwamaryam - that is to make the whole world noble through Sanathana Dharma - transform Manava to Madhava, to create an ideal world like Satyayuga, to create heaven on earth itself.
This vision of Parameshwara and Sanathana Dharma itself is the goal of Aarsha Vidya Samajam.
The means to fulfil this mission was also given by Sri Parameshwara himself.
