FlyDubai Hijacking Attempt – One Prayed to Kill. Another Prayed to Save Lives.
What happens when the person entrusted with protecting hundreds of lives becomes the person trying to destroy them?
The attempted hijacking of a FlyDubai flight on September 30, 2026, has raised deeply disturbing questions about terrorism, radicalisation, aviation security and the ideologies that can drive human beings towards violence.
In this video, we examine the reported events surrounding the FlyDubai Hijacking Attempt, the actions of the pilots and passengers who helped prevent a catastrophe, and the wider ideological challenge posed by extremist movements.
We also ask a larger question:
Is defeating terrorists enough – or must we also address the ideologies and influences that create new terrorists?
Because we can arrest attackers.
We can imprison them.
We can dismantle terrorist organisations.
We can seize their assets.
But if the ideological pathways to radicalisation remain untouched, the cycle can continue.
This is why Aarsha Vidya Samajam presents the Sudarshanam Global Service Mission – a global initiative focused on de-radicalisation, education, awareness, counselling, social empowerment and the prevention of destructive extremist ideologies.
Our objective is not to target any community, religion, nationality or political group.
It is to protect human beings and humanity itself from ideologies that promote hatred, violence and the dehumanisation of others.
The mission focuses on four key areas:
- Bring people back
Helping individuals already influenced by destructive ideologies return to a constructive and humane way of thinking. - Create awareness and prevention
Educating children, young people, parents and society to recognise dangerous ideological influences before they take root. - Build a scientific and systematic long-term solution
Developing educational programmes, counselling initiatives, courses and research-based approaches to address radicalisation. - Build a global network
Bringing together trained volunteers, professionals, institutions and organisations to take this work across countries and languages.
We believe prevention must also address poverty, deprivation, ignorance, lack of opportunity and other conditions that can make individuals vulnerable to extremist recruitment.
This is not the responsibility of one organisation alone.
Parents have a role.
Governments have a role.
Educational institutions have a role.
Experts and voluntary organisations have a role.
Courts and correctional institutions have a role.
And every responsible citizen has a role.
The answer cannot be hatred.
The answer cannot be silence.
The answer must be education, dialogue, reason, compassion, social empowerment and transformation.
Rooted in the universal values of Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram – Truth, Goodness and Perfection, the Sudarshanam Global Service Mission seeks to contribute towards a safer, wiser and more humane world.
If you believe that we must protect our children, prevent radicalisation and safeguard future generations from destructive ideologies, join us.
Let us work together – irrespective of caste, religion, political differences or nationality – to protect humanity and safeguard the next generation.
The world needs a solution.
The next generation needs our action.
Let us join hands – and begin the work today.
