While Surekha, Divya, and Neha are living happy lives with their parents, some people enter their lives as new friends. Through organized and well-planned approaches such as feigned friendship, false promises, romantic deception, gaining trust and misleading them, these individuals build relationships with the girls. At first, the young women fail to understand the jihadist motives hidden behind these relationships. Ignoring all the warnings from their families, the girls go along with these pretenders. By the time they realize the truth, they have already lost everything. What follows is their struggle to escape and to bring the truth to light.

In the film, one of the girls tells her parents-who try to counsel her-that they are suffering from “Islamophobia.” She had proudly claimed that her lover was a secular gentleman, but eventually she recognizes the harsh realities. The film also depicts an incident where someone, posing as a Hindu believer, traps a girl in a love affair. There are other such instances of al-taqiyya (so-called “pious lies” or deceptions). In another case, a man first encourages a girl to dance despite her family’s objections and, after trapping her, converts her to Islam and then forbids dance as haram. He even brings home another woman as a new bride while his wife is pregnant. All these are portrayed as only a few among many developments that have happened and are still happening in different parts of India.

The main female character in the film is based on Anuja, who in real life was an SFI leader at Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam (the same college where Abhimanyu-who was killed by jihadists-studied). She was later found brutally tortured, with her head completely shaved and hanging dead in a room. This was a real incident that happened in Kochi a few years ago. However, if it had also presented a real ideological counter-effort capable of uprooting silent jihadist sleeper-cell activities, deceptive religious conversion programs, and extremist-terrorist ideologies and recruitments, it would have provided even stronger awareness and resistance for those who might fall into such love traps.

Appeal to the Hindu leadership…!

Instead of seeking permission from the aggressors, it is requested that all Hindu organizational leaders and community leaders hold a press conference declaring, “Come boldly to watch the film; we will provide protection,” and ensure that this assurance is upheld to safeguard the public. Are people staying away from theatres merely out of fear of certain groups? In reality, shouldn’t an atmosphere be created where the public can watch the film with confidence and courage? If self-respecting Hindu leaders issue an organizational call, everyone will get the opportunity to watch this film. We must not forget the fact that the Communist movement took root through the cultural sphere—street plays, poems, folk songs, and the dramas of groups like KPAC. Compared to hundreds of speeches, a work of art can deeply influence the hearts of the people. Spiritual leaders, revered monks, and Hindu leadership are humbly requested to take an active stand in this matter.

In this film written by Shri Vipul Amrutlal Shah Ji and Shri Amarnath Jha Ji, Ulka Gupta as Surekha, Aditi Bhatia as Divya, Aishwarya Ojha as Neha, Sumit Gahlawat as Salim, Arjan Singh Aujla as Faizan, Yuktam Khosla as Rashid, and Alka Amin as Hafsa Begum have delivered impressive performances. The acting, presentation, background score, songs, sentiments, story, screenplay, and dialogues are all very good. The climax and the climax song become a conch-blast of dharmic victory along with a message of hope.
